MCSA offers Co-Ed (Boys and Girls) development programs for younger and first time players, recreational league (Tier 4) teams & competitive or travel (Tier 3) teams. Additionally, we have fielded a very succesful Girls team which typically sees players between the age of 10 and 16. Each year the age makeup of the girls team varies.
All programs incorporate a 12 week "skating development" program lead by skating specialist Jesse Simko and integrated into the regular season practices with support from our coaches, demonstrators and volunteers. The MCSA board believes this program is a critical part of developing strong, capable young skaters and provides them with the best tools to enjoy the sport of ice hockey.
